Job description

Job Title: Senior Assembly Technician

Location: 77484

Position Summary:
The Senior Assembly Technician is responsible for leading the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment while ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety standards are met. This role serves as a subject matter expert on the production floor and supports junior technicians.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and perform complex mechanical assembly of industrial equipment and systems
  • Interpret and execute work from blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve assembly or performance issues
  • Oversee and support junior technicians, providing guidance and training as needed
  • Conduct final inspections and ensure all builds meet quality and compliance standards
  • Coordinate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and efficiency
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
  • Assist with testing, commissioning, and field readiness of equipment

Qualifications:
  • 3–5+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or industrial manufacturing
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Advanced mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Leadership or mentorship experience preferred
  • Proficient with hand and power tools
