Position Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our talented team. In this role, you will lead the design and analysis of electrical power distribution, lighting, and control systems for a variety of industrial and commercial projects. You'll collaborate closely with architects, mechanical and structural engineers, and clients to develop efficient, code-compliant, and constructible designs that meet project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze electrical power distribution, lighting, grounding, and control systems for industrial and commercial projects

  • Conduct arc flash, short circuit, and time-current coordination studies to ensure system safety and reliability

  • Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, structural, civil, and architectural disciplines

  • Prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates

  • Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and all applicable codes and standards

  • Lead client meetings and project coordination efforts from concept through construction

  • Oversee and mentor junior engineers and designers

  • Support proposal development, budgeting, and scheduling to ensure project success

Required skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in electrical design (industrial or commercial facilities preferred)

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, or ETAP for power system analysis

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

  • Experience preparing construction cost estimates and project proposals
