Come be a part of what's next. We are seeking an experienced Post Production professional to help manage both internal workflows and third party productions. This person must be able to support a wide range of Live programming, including sports and variety tentpole events.

This role will serve as a network touch point, ensuring our external producing partners are effectively onboarded, supported, and assessed for our post-production workflows. Responsibilities include supporting the Post Production leads, establishing and curating vendor & staff/crew relations, managing document distribution & communication flow, liaising with internal cross-functional teams, media management support within Netflix tools, and servicing requests, and supporting/suggesting best practices from pre-production through delivery while working with production companies and within the Netflix ecosystem. This position will report to the Director of Live Post Production and will be based out of the Netflix offices in Los Angeles, CA.

The Role A successful candidate will be passionate and knowledgeable about post-production planning, management, and logistics, and have live or live-to-tape post-production experience on sports programming or entertainment programming that has aired or streamed on major platforms, such as networks or large-scale streaming platforms. They will be self-motivated, flexible, thorough, and capable of juggling diverse responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on organization, communication, and unwavering attention to detail at all times. A priority to learn is key, as the live slate is ever-changing and requires the education of new technologies and practices within production and post-production.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Support the post partners through various processes during the setup and execution of the project such as guidance on vendors, disseminating information to the studio, and uploading deliverable materials Liaise with the post production vendors to ensure they are on-boarded and trained to lean on our various tools and Netflix workflows (e.g tools for cut reviews, delivery of AV deliverables) Audit completion/delivery of post production materials during pre, production, and wrap Gather, track and enter various production and post production related data among multiple platforms Build agendas, participate in or lead tech kick-offs and ongoing production/post production meetings for all live productions Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Publicity, Photo/AV Studio, Product Creative, and Media Operations. Collaborate effectively with internal operations & technical teams as well as other post production coordinators to streamline workflows across all apps and content teams Assist with identification and curation of experienced, high quality post production staff and crew Participate in beta testing of proprietary apps while offering constructive feedback about the end user experience Media Management within Netflix tools, to service internal and external requests for footage Any other duties as necessary to support the productions and the LIVE department Qualifications: 5+ years experience working in post production management at a network, production company, or vendor, including live experience within sports programming or entertainment programming that has aired or streamed on a major platform such as networks or large scale streaming platforms. Candidates will need to be at least a Post Production Supervisor level equivalent outside of Netflix

Ability to handle a fast paced and high-performance environment and a high volume of projects and courage to take educated risks while thinking outside the box while always responding in a timely manner Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask Proficiency in Google Workspace (including Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Mail and Drive) as well as Slack. Able to build presentation decks, and speak on post production live workflows within various internal and external forums Well informed and curious about all aspects of production and post production Team-player who operates in a fast paced setting Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly An understanding of post production workflows, responsibilities and applications (i.e. Avid/Premier/etc...) Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses

To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $100,000.00 - $155,000.00
