Job description

A Day in the Life:
In the position of Freight Analyst, you will transfer inventory for orders, prepare shipping documentation, gather quotes, obtain appropriate approvals, and coordinate with our freight forwarders and couriers. Accountable for processing the order and getting it to the final destination. Evaluate transportation costs, analyze shipping data, manage carrier relationships, and optimize supply chain efficiency to reduce expenses and improve delivery performance.
The Impact You'll Make:
  • Check stock and transfer available material on orders the customer service team provides in SAP. Process necessary shipping documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bill of lading, insurance letters, etc., to schedule a pickup for the approved quote of a courier or freight forwarder.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse team to collect the information required to get quotes from our freight forwarder and couriers. Gain appropriate approval for the freight and coordinate with the compliance team, procurement team, vendors, and other relevant entities.
  • Provide tracking information to requesting parties and customer service team. Supply any additional necessary information requested by freight forwarding or courier.
  • Utilize data analytics to forecast shipping trends and recommend cost-saving strategies that enhance overall logistics management
  • Any other assignments or responsibilities delegated by supervisor and management.
Who You Are:
  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Business, Supply Chain Management, or related experience
  • Additional Experience Desired: Minimum 1 year of experience in international logistics, freight data
  • Additional Experience Desired: Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory management
  • Computer Skills Desired: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SAP; Printer
  • Preferred Certifications: Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) desired
