Job Title :POS Analyst (Overnight Deployments & Support)

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented POS Analyst to support point-of-sale (POS) deployments, configuration management, hardware implementations, and production support activities. This position works primarily overnight, supporting deployments and conversions occurring across the retail environment.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong analytical and technical skills, and can effectively coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and store personnel to ensure successful deployment execution and issue resolution.
Work Schedule
Primarily overnight shift (approximately 11:00 PM to 7:00/8:00 AM) Sunday night - Thursday night
Schedule may vary based on deployment activities and business needs
Occasional onsite attendance required at Salisbury or Mooresville, NC locations for training, project work, and team collaboration. This will be on our freeze weeks where no code is being deployed.
Key Responsibilities
POS Deployments & Conversions
Lead and support overnight POS code deployments and store conversions.
Manage deployment schedules and coordinate execution activities with internal teams and external vendors.
Validate successful deployment of code and configuration changes.
Troubleshoot deployment-related issues and coordinate resolution efforts as needed.
Production Support & Analysis
Analyze and troubleshoot POS-related issues during conversions.
Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve system, deployment, and configuration issues.
Document findings, solutions, and deployment results.
Provide clear communication to stakeholders regarding issues, risks, and resolutions.
Required Qualifications
Experience supporting and administering Point of Sale (POS) systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of SQL and ability to perform data analysis and troubleshooting.
Experience with batch scripting.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Willingness and ability to work overnight hours on a regular basis.
Ability to travel periodically to Salisbury or Mooresville, NC for team collaboration and training on freeze weeks.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with POS (examples: NCR Storeline, NCR Emeral 1.0, etc)
Experience supporting wireless Android-based applications.
Retail technology and deployment experience.
Experience coordinating with third-party vendors and implementation teams.
