Position Summary
The Plating Technician will perform most tasks in the plating area, working with materials, such as gold, copper, tin/nickel, and solder. You will also be required to mix chemicals, as needed, and will need to take and understand instructions from your supervisor. Must be OK to ask questions for clarification and communicate clearly and effectively. This person will monitor boards in the appropriate plating tanks, overseeing the processing with meticulous attention to detail and oversight. The Plating Technician will need to perform visual and mechanical inspection of plated first articles to ensure quality and compliance of specifications. This person must be open to communicating problems to team members and supervisors and receiving constructive feedback.
