RESRG Automotive is looking for a Paint and Plating Manager in Portageville, MO!


Your Job

This role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the paint and plating department, including management of the department staff, ensuring high performance of the department, and overseeing accurate inventory. The position requires oversight and knowledge of both the operations side and the technical side of the department.


What you Will do in Your Role

  • Coach, mentor, and lead talent development to drive ownership, sustainability, and help advance our company culture
  • Utilize plaint and paint KPIโ€™s to monitor line performance and drive continuous improvement to exceed business plan targets and reduce waste
  • Assist team members with technical projects and troubleshooting with the management team
  • Ensure manufacturing goals are met and drive continuous improvement
  • Build strong customer relations and foster a positive work environment
  • Review and implement actions to improve first time quality
  • Embrace change and lead standardization and best practice implementations
  • Oversee projects and assist with quoting for potential new ventures within the paint department
  • Supports the Environmental Department in providing resources adequate to achieve environmental objectives and targets and proper implementation and maintenance of the EMS
  • Monitor preventative maintenance activity to ensure equipment reliability


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 3+ years of leadership or management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience building and leading high-performance teams, driving a culture of accountability, and fostering employee development
  • Experience driving process improvements and operational excellence within manufacturing
  • Experience in a paint and plating production facility


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • Experience working in the automotive industry
  • Robotic Electrostatic Paint Application using Guns and Bels
