Job description

Martin Automotive Group is seeking a process-driven dealership Platform Manager to join our growing company!The Platform Manager is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational performance, and profitability of three automotive dealerships within the California market. This role ensures that each store operates at the highest standards of customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance while upholding the company's culture, values, and compliance standards.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations for all three dealership locations, including Sales, Finance, Service, and Parts departments.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to meet or exceed company goals for volume, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and evaluate each store's performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring consistent execution of best practices.
  • Manage P&L for all locations, ensuring cost control, revenue growth, and profit optimization.
  • Work with General Managers and department heads to develop budgets, forecasts, and action plans.
  • Review and maintain aged inventory plans with the company 60-day aging policy.
  • Ensure that used vehicles are priced properly and maintain proper values that do not exceed market cost.
  • Review financial statements regularly and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Provide direct leadership, coaching, and support to General Managers and department leaders.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing management teams across all locations.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and customer-centric service.
  • Ensure all dealerships consistently deliver a premium, customer-focused experience in both sales and service.
  • Monitor CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores and implement improvement strategies when necessary.
  • Ensure all stores comply with manufacturer requirements, corporate policies, and all state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain facility standards in accordance with OEM guidelines.
  • Complete all company required training.
  • All other duties assigned.

Requirements
  • Educational: Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or related field
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of automotive management experience, with at least 2 years in a multi-dealership environment.
  • Special Skills (i.e., licenses, certifications): Strong written and verbal communication skills. Valid driver's license. Proficiency in dealership software and basic office applications.
