The Enterprise Platform Coordinator is responsible for the strategic ownership, implementation, and continuous evolution of Enterprise Platforms at the client site. This role ensures that firm data is trusted, well-defined, and handled in accordance with internal standards and regulatory expectations. The position leads governance platform capabilities across Collibra, Atlan, Alation, and Manta, driving metadata management, lineage visibility, policy enforcement, conceptual mapping implementation, and AI implementation. The role partners closely with business leadership, data teams, and Risk/Compliance to embed governance into enterprise workflows and support analytics and AI initiatives in a controlled and compliant manner.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Own and lead the Enterprise Platform strategy, including roadmap, adoption, and long-term scalability.
- Establish and enforce firm-wide data governance standards, policies, and operating models aligned with the client's governance expectations.
- Provide end-to-end ownership of governance platforms such as Collibra, Atlan, Alation, and Manta, including configuration, lifecycle management, and continuous enhancement.
- Lead implementation of data lineage, metadata management, conceptual mapping, and lifecycle controls to ensure traceability, usability, and auditability.
- Drive AI implementation within governance platforms to enable responsible metadata enrichment, discovery, stewardship workflows, and governed AI use cases.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements including GDPR, CCPA, and applicable industry standards.
- Partner with stakeholders across business and technology teams to define governance priorities and align metadata with business needs.
- Establish and oversee data quality frameworks, metrics, and monitoring processes.
- Drive integration of governance platforms into enterprise systems supporting analytics and AI use cases.
- Lead governance reviews, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with internal and external controls.
- Identify and mitigate data governance risks, especially related to sensitive and regulated data.
- Promote data stewardship practices through training, communication, and organizational change management.
- Ensure platform reliability and operational effectiveness through monitoring and continuous improvement.
- Maintain documentation supporting governance frameworks, lineage, conceptual mappings, and audit readiness.
Basic Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in data governance, data management, or enterprise data platform roles.
- 3 years of experience implementing AI-enabled capabilities or supporting AI use cases within governed data platforms and enterprise data ecosystems.
- 3 years of experience with AI principles, metadata-driven AI enablement, and governance controls required to support compliant AI adoption.
- 3 years of experience with data privacy laws and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of governance frameworks and operating models.
- Experience operating within environments with strong audit, risk, and regulatory oversight.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive enterprise adoption.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into scalable governance platform capabilities.
- Certification in data governance or data management (e.g., DAMA CDMP).
- Hands-on experience with Collibra, Atlan, Alation, or Manta.
- Experience leading enterprise governance adoption efforts.
- Experience supporting AI, analytics, or metadata-driven initiatives leveraging governed data.
- Familiarity with responsible AI governance, AI metadata models, or governance controls for enterprise AI implementations.
- Experience in financial services or other regulated industries.

Actual salary will depend on factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, market and work location. The client offers benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual salary for this position in San Francisco Bay Area is $140,000-$165,000.
