Job Description:
Assists with developing and implementing business strategy through platform development initiatives from idea creation through deployment including identifying customer need, designing and validating concepts, developing business cases, assisting with vendor negotiations and relationships, partnering with technology to analyze and write Business and Functional Requirements documentation, managing to a budget SME in coordinating and developing communications with Marketing and Training, coordinating business and Beta testers, and implementing deliverables. Maintains a thorough knowledge of systems and operations processes for platform supported. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining subject matter expertise for platform functionality and resolving chronic service delivery or platform issues identified by client service/support organizations. Works closely with Program Owners, Business Channel leaders, SMEs, Technology, Operations, Client Services, Legal, Compliance Risk, and external suppliers/vendors.

Responsibilities:

  • Partners with platform users to understand and document platform requirements.
  • Works with design teams and technology to design technology/people/process to achieve user defined requirements.
  • Defines solutions that are highly efficient and effective, balancing customization and consistency optimally.
  • Holds technology accountable for sustainable and flexibly architecture that can adapt with users, requirements and credit environment evolution.
  • Understands the end-to-end platform functionality and associated user policies/procedures.
  • Meeting end user expectations in a manner that is operationally excellent, managing Bank risks, and setting us up for near- and long-term success.
  • Works with technology environment teams and data providers to maintain testing capability that is up to date and can be used with ease to replicate production issues that may arise.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience in Credit U/W and/or Monitoring role, and/or very strong knowledge of U/W and/or Monitoring roles/responsibilities/process through experience in a supporting, data, Risk management, and/or analysis job.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, deep attention to details, and proven great at asking good questions and effectively challenging the status quo. Ability to think end-to-end through the process, identify potential unintended consequences, and craft solutions to ensure these are identified
  • Detail oriented and demonstrate a high regard for operational excellence
  • Individual contributor, but a great teammate with strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, JIRA/Blueprint
