Job description

In support of the global marketing strategy and brand development efforts, the Advertising and Platform Manager will lead the management of Sight & Sound’s paid advertising channels as well as owned digital platforms including websites, social media, and email marketing initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage marketing agency and advertising partner relationship while regularly evaluating paid advertising success and recommending shifts as needed. Advertising channels include Broadcast, CTV, Billboards, Radio, Digital Display, Google Search, YouTube and OOH Advertising.
  • Develop and execute digital paid advertising plans using the following primary platforms: META, Google/YouTube, Microsoft BING, LinkedIn.
  • Evaluate and report marketing performance of all platforms and advertising channels by tracking, studying and analyzing key metrics. This includes managing the Customer Data Platform to capture information to target and retarget audience groups.
  • Lead website optimization, including content management processes, backend SEO and new development initiatives.
  • Partner with team to help manage the Sight & Sound TV Platform and content. Guide Digital Marketing Specialist in execution of content and platform support strategies.
  • Partner with Marketing and Communications team to help develop digital campaign plans that compliment paid media plans and support all branches of Sight & Sound Ministries, including Theaters, Films, TV and Conservatory.
  • Develop strong partnerships with Software and Business Development teams to collaborate on and inform new digital marketing initiatives.
  • Proactively evaluate digital marketing and social media best practices and advancements to inform on future planning and opportunities.
  • Develop an understanding of the brand standards and voice to ensure consistency across all forms of representation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Prerequisites:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player who excels in fast-paced collaborative environments with the ability to engage with a wide variety of individuals, teams, and agencies
  • Extremely detail oriented with exceptional project management skills, and a keen eye for design and excellence
  • Proven experience managing multiple digital platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Mail Chimp and website CMS
  • Experience in SEO, analytics, advertising, business practices, social media, email marketing and web development
  • Experience working in the creative process and content development
  • Passionate and creative thinker
  • Some travel may be required
