Job Summary

The Production Planner is responsible for coordinating and optimizing the manufacturing process to ensure efficient production schedules that meet customer demands and company objectives. This role involves analyzing production specifications, capacity, and demand to develop schedules that maximize productivity and minimize costs.

Job Duties

·       Develop and maintain detailed production schedule based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacities.

·       Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.

·       Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in demand or resource availability.

·       Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks and areas for improvement.

·       Collaborate with quality assurance, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to synchronize production activities and resolve scheduling conflicts.

·       Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, and work-in-progress.

·       Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to align production plans with organizational goals.

·       Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing production efficiency, reducing waste, and improving overall operational performance using methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to details.
