RESUMEN DE LA POSICION:

La Colonia Medical Center esta buscando Recepcionista para que sirva como primera linea de asistencia, comunicacion e informacion para nuestros pacientes. Esta posicion brindara apoyo a los pacientes, visitantes, personal y proveedores a traves del saludo, la direccion, el proceso de registro, asi como a traves de las responsabilidades como Recepcionista. Ayuda en las funciones basicas de servicio al paciente, segun se considere necesario.

DEBERES Y RESPONSABILIDADES:

Las responsabilidades incluyen, pero no se limitan a:

  • Responder a los telefonos, proporcionar informacion y/o enrutar llamadas segun los procedimientos.
  • Registre eficientemente a los pacientes a su llegada y salida.
  • Programar servicios de transporte de los pacientes.
  • Coordina toda la programacion de visitas al consultorio, prepara e ingresa datos de registro demografico en sistema informatico.
  • Facilite el flujo de pacientes notificando al personal clinico la llegada de los pacientes, siendo consciente de los retrasos y comunicandolos con los pacientes y el personal clinico.
  • Realizar deberes de oficina basicas y otras responsabilidades segun le sean asignadas.

CALIFICACIONES:

  • Excelentes habilidades de servicio al cliente y experiencia.
  • Capacidad para trabajar en un ambiente de ritmo rapido.
  • Debe poder trabajar con computadoras y tener un conocimiento profundo de Microsoft Office.
  • Destacadas habilidades comunicativas - verbales y escritas.
  • Debe ser fluido en ingles/espanol hablado y escrito.
  • Establecer y mantener relaciones de trabajo efectivas con companeros de trabajo, personal, pacientes y visitantes.
  • Excelente comunicacion verbal e interpersonal para brindar una experiencia agradable al paciente.
  • Diploma de escuela secundaria o su equivalente.

POSITION SUMMARY:

La Colonia Medical Center is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the frontline for assistance, communication and information for our patients. This position will provide support for patients, visitors, staff and providers through the greeting, directing, registration process, as well as through duties as phone receptionist. Assists in basic patient service functions, as deemed necessary.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer telephone calls, provide information and/or route calls according to procedures.
  • Efficiently check patients in upon their arrival and departure.
  • Schedule patient transportation services
  • Coordinates all scheduling of office visits, prepares and enters demographic registration data into computer system.
  • Facilitate patient flow by notifying the clinical staff of patient arrival, being aware of delays and communicating such with patients and clinical staff.
  • Perform basic clerical and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent customer service skills and experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work with computers and thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Outstanding communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Must be fluent in spoken and written English/Spanish.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, staff, patients and visitors.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication to deliver a pleasant patient experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
