Performance Tester

Location: Markham, ON

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Performance Tester with strong expertise in LoadRunner Enterprise and JMeter. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and execute performance tests, analyze results, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal application performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop performance test scripts using LoadRunner for applications across multiple protocols.
  • Design and develop test plans using JMeter; execute performance tests and analyze results to identify bottlenecks and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand application architecture and performance requirements.
  • Monitor system performance during tests and provide detailed reports on findings.
  • Recommend performance tuning and optimization strategies based on test results.
  • Maintain and update performance testing frameworks and scripts as needed.
  • Participate in performance testing strategy discussions and contribute to best practices.
  • Document test plans, test cases, and test results for stakeholder review.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in performance testing.
Technical Skills – Primary
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Performance Testing using LoadRunner Enterprise and JMeter.
  • Expertise in WebHTTP protocol.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Datadog monitoring.
