8Fleet is hiring. 8Fleet is a rapidly growing LA based technology and logistics startup building the operational infrastructure for both autonomous and non autonomous rideshare fleets. With our anticipated growth, we're searching for a People Tech & Analytics Leader to support our expanding multi location workforce and help build a high performance People function that scales with us.
About the Role:
We are looking for a People Tech & Analytics Leader who is responsible for the end-to-end strategy, development, optimization, and scaling of people technology, workforce analytics, and AI-enabled employee experience solutions. This role serves as a key partner to People, Product, Engineering, Operations, and Business Operations teams to build scalable systems, actionable insights, and predictive models that drive workforce effectiveness, compliance, operational efficiency, and business growth.
The ideal candidate combines expertise in HR technology, workforce analytics, AI adoption, and cross-functional program leadership to transform data into strategic workforce decisions and create a best-in-class employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
People Systems & Technology
  • Own the strategy, governance, and optimization of People systems and related technologies.
  • Drive system adoption, compliance, data integrity, and process efficiency.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to automate workflows and enhance employee-facing tools.
Workforce Analytics & Insights
  • Build and scale workforce analytics capabilities that support business decision-making.
  • Develop predictive models focused on attrition, talent attraction, internal talent mobility, workforce planning, and labor risk.
  • Deliver dashboards, KPIs, and insights that enable proactive workforce decisions.
AI & Employee Experience
  • Lead AI strategy and adoption across the employee lifecycle.
  • Implement AI-driven solutions that improve employee support, ticketing, self-service, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and enhance the employee experience.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner with People, Product, Engineering, Operations, and Business Operations teams to prioritize and deliver workforce technology initiatives.
  • Lead large-scale projects from design through implementation and adoption.
  • Influence stakeholders through data-driven recommendations and measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in HR Technology, People Analytics, Workforce Planning, Business Intelligence, or related functions.
  • 5+ years leading enterprise-scale people systems, analytics, or workforce technology initiatives.
  • Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, and Operations organizations.
  • Strong understanding of HRIS, ATS, ticketing systems, workflow automation, and workforce management platforms.
  • Experience building and deploying workforce analytics dashboards and predictive models.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional programs in high-growth, technology-driven environments.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Compensation:
Base Salary Range: 150k to 165k plus equity
