Now Hiring: Payroll Processor | Bronx, NY
We're seeking an experienced Payroll Processor for a long-term contract opportunity located onsite in the Bronx. This role offers strong potential to convert to a permanent position and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume payroll environment.
Pay Rate: $30-33/hour
Location: Bronx, NY (Onsite)
Schedule: 35 hours/week with flexible Friday coverage every other week (6am-2pm or 10am-6pm)
Key responsibilities include:
Processing payroll, garnishments, taxes, deductions, and year-end activities
Managing employee payroll records and HRIS/payroll systems
Supporting payroll compliance, audits, reconciliations, and reporting
Resolving payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
Working across multiple payroll systems simultaneously
Ideal candidates will have:
2+ years of payroll processing experience
Experience with Oracle Cloud, PeopleSoft, and ADP
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements
Excellent analytical skills, particularly with retro pay calculations and time reporting
CPP or FPC certification preferred
