Performs variety of payroll activities including entering, reviewing, processing, auditing, and reporting of payroll information. Understands the payroll system and brings issues to the attention of the Payroll Supervisor for assistance and further evaluation. Also responsible for providing customer service to employees, office staff and management for payroll related items.

  • Good knowledge of payroll practices

  • Under general supervision, responsible for supporting the bi-weekly payroll process with uploads and audits of time entry and employee information.
  • Responsible for the weekly upload and balancing of hours and expenses into the payroll system from our timesheet entry system.
  • Responsible for the daily upload of employee information into payroll system from our HR system.
  • Responsible for reviewing payroll documents for accuracy between payroll system and Oracle system.
  • Responsible for off cycle checks for terminations and other immediate issues.
  • Prepare basic report information as required by states such as multi-site reporting
  • Provide customer service to employees and troubleshooting issues.
  • Work closely with HR and accounting on all payroll related issues.
  • Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
  • Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects.
