This role offers a unique opportunity to lead payroll delivery across North America and Latin America, partner with a global outsourcing provider, and help shape the future of payroll through technology, governance, and operational excellence.
The Opportunity
As the Western Hemisphere Payroll Manager, you will lead payroll operations across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, and Argentina, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery for a diverse workforce.
You will operate at the intersection of payroll operations, technology, compliance, and transformation, overseeing payroll teams while collaborating with our strategic partner Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) who support pre-payroll and post-payroll processing activities.

Key Responsibilities
Western Hemisphere Payroll Operations
  • Oversee payroll delivery across U.S., Canada, and Latin America, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
  • Manage multi-country payroll cycles, including bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payroll processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, payroll tax regulations, and internal financial controls.

Payroll Technology & Systems
  • Serve as the regional subject matter expert for ADP GlobalView and its integration with Oracle HCM.
  • Oversee system configuration, payroll interfaces, and issue resolution across platforms.
  • Partner with HRIS and IT teams to improve payroll integrations, automation, and reporting.

Compliance, Controls & Reporting
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local payroll regulations.
  • Maintain strong SOX and audit controls across payroll operations.
  • Oversee payroll accounting activities including general ledger reconciliation and financial reporting.
  • Support internal and external audits with appropriate documentation and control validation.

Leadership & Transformation
  • Lead and develop a geographically distributed payroll team across the Americas.
  • Foster a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in global payroll transformation initiatives, including standardization and process modernization.

Required Qualifications
Core Expertise
  • 10+ years of progressive payroll leadership experience
  • Deep expertise with ADP GlobalView payroll platform
  • Strong understanding of U.S. payroll compliance, multi-state taxation, and regulatory reporting
  • Experience managing multi-country payroll operations across North and Latin America
  • Hands-on experience with ADP SmartCompliance (tax and garnishments)
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written)

Operational Leadership
  • Experience managing payroll teams and outsourced payroll vendors
  • Strong knowledge of payroll accounting, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation
  • Ability to manage payroll operations within large, complex global organizations

Strategic Capability
  • Proven ability to improve payroll processes and implement operational efficiencies
  • Experience working in shared service or outsourced payroll models
  • Strong collaboration skills across HR, Finance, IT, and external partners

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent certification
  • Experience with Oracle HCM / Oracle Fusion HR
  • Exposure to global payroll transformation or system implementations
