Working Model:Onsite

Schedule: Monday through Thursday 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

As a Patient Scheduling Coordinator at Sagent Behavioral Health, you will play an important role in scheduling established patients for follow up appointments via phone and responding to inquiries. This position acts as the first point of contact for patients by providing information on services.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures a positive first impression for patients and referents by guiding them through the scheduling process with professionalism and empathy.
  • Exclusively conducts all patient interactions through incoming and outgoing phone calls in a prompt and courteous manner, providing accurate information or triaging as appropriate.
  • Handles patient inquiries by providing basic education on services, and scheduling appointments.
  • Handle patient concerns and crises with empathy and patience and collaborate with site leadership to resolve as needed.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff regarding patient care issues and scheduling.
  • Maintain awareness in trends, patterns, and needs for new services.
  • Attend mandatory meetings and trainings.

Requirements:

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working in health care facilities and an interest in behavioral health preferred.
  • Physical requirements include occasionally lifting and moving office supplies which can include reams of paper that weigh up to 50lbs.
  • It is clearly understood that all names and materials seen in this position are strictly and highly confidential due to state and federal regulations on patient privacy. Compliance of all HIPAA related regulations will be strictly enforced by Management.

Compensation: This is a non-exempt position. Total earnings for this position will start at $16.50 hourly.

*Actual compensation may be determined by various factors such as licensure, experience, skillset, internal equity, schedule and/or location. Estimates are factored on a 1.0 FTE.
