Full-time| M-F, 8am-4:30pm | PG 7| . Weekly Earned wage access is an option for this position.
Job Purpose or Objective(s): As the Patient Relations Representative, you will assist in resolving patient care issues and acts as a liaison between the patient and outside agencies. You will report to the Supervisor.
Primary Tasks:
  1. Maintain and update patient information in database.
  2. Contact patient(s) and vendor(s) via phone, email, personal visit, and by other means of communication.
  3. Contact health facilities to negotiate medical bills, discuss payment information, and order durable medical equipment.
  4. Collaborate with patient and family to identify resources for patients that have minimal or no payer resource.
  5. Assist patients navigate Indian Health Services resources.
  6. Interact with internal and external guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  7. Adapt to changing duties, cross train on other roles, and multi-talk with ease.
  8. Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Required Education and Experience:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Willing to learn the HIPAA and Joint Commission standards
  • Valid driver's license
