Join Our Team as a PRN Patient Intake Specialist I
Are you passionate about helping others and creating positive experiences for patients? We're looking for a compassionate, caring, and dedicated PRN Patient Intake Specialist I to join our team and help us continue our tradition of excellence.
In this role, you'll be one of the first points of contact for patients, making a meaningful impact by providing a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth registration experience. As a trusted ambassador of Deaconess, you'll help cultivate a nurturing environment built on courtesy, respect, empathy, dignity, and optimism.
What You'll Do:
  • Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and compassion.
  • Register patients accurately and efficiently.
  • Collect payments in accordance with established procedures.
  • Direct and escort patients to appropriate locations as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations, as well as hospital policies and procedures.
  • Serve as an ambassador of Deaconess by fostering a positive, patient-centered experience.

Education & Experience:
  • Completion of High School or GED is required.
  • Knowledge of the health care revenue cycle is preferred.
  • Understanding insurance is a plus.
