Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 1-hour lunch

Fridays are OT as needed. $16/hr.


Job Summary:   Assist the Pasteurization Department with preparing, processing, and storing product to ensure efficiency, food quality, and safety. 


Job Responsibilities:

Assists Pasteurization Tech/Operator with loading product into machinery.

Assist with moving and staging product (nuts/seeds) in preparation for processing.

Assist with moving and packaging finished product.

Assist Operator with cleaning the machinery prior to and after shift run in compliance with food safety standards.

Assist plant personnel with cleaning the facility and disposing of waste materials throughout the shift.

Create labels as needed to maintain efficient production.

Requirements

Requirements:

Must be able to comply with all safety and cleanliness requirements.

Ability to climb ladders/steps and work on platforms.

Frequently lift boxes up to 50lbs.

Must be able to complete training for palletjack and/or forklift operation as needed.

Must be trained in food safety and quality.  

Must be punctual and dependable 

All staff MUST report any known food safety issues to supervisor. 

All staff has authority to place on hold any products and/or equipment that do not meet Texas Star Nut and Food Co., Inc food safety standards.

Any other duties assigned by supervisor.
