Description:

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 1-hour lunch

Fridays are OT as needed. $16/hr.


Job Summary: Assist the Pasteurization Department with preparing, processing, and storing product to ensure efficiency, food quality, and safety.


Job Responsibilities:

· Assists Pasteurization Tech/Operator with loading product into machinery.

· Assist with moving and staging product (nuts/seeds) in preparation for processing.

· Assist with moving and packaging finished product.

· Assist Operator with cleaning the machinery prior to and after shift run in compliance with food safety standards.

· Assist plant personnel with cleaning the facility and disposing of waste materials throughout the shift.

· Create labels as needed to maintain efficient production.

Requirements:

Requirements:

· Must be able to comply with all safety and cleanliness requirements.

· Ability to climb ladders/steps and work on platforms.

· Frequently lift boxes up to 50lbs.

· Must be able to complete training for palletjack and/or forklift operation as needed.

· Must be trained in food safety and quality.

· Must be punctual and dependable

· All staff MUST report any known food safety issues to supervisor.

· All staff has authority to place on hold any products and/or equipment that do not meet Texas Star Nut and Food Co., Inc food safety standards.

· Any other duties assigned by supervisor.
