Position Summary

The Manager, Global Partnerships Sales, will work closely with the Senior Vice President and leadership team to develop sponsorship strategies, cultivate C-level relationships, and deliver innovative partnership solutions that create value and drive profitability for the organization. We are seeking a hard-working, ambitious, collaborative, and curious individual with a passion for partnership sales, relationship building, and creative problem-solving within the sports and entertainment industry.

As a member of the New York Islanders, UBS Arena, and OVG Global Partnerships teams, the Manager, Global Partnerships, will be based in the OVG New York Corporate headquarters and responsible for driving new business development and generating sponsorship revenue for the New York Islanders, UBS Arena, and other designated OVG properties.

This role pays an annual salary of $95,000-$110,000 and is bonus eligible.

This position will remain open until September 18, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a key contributor to the OVG Global Partnerships commercial sales process for the New York market.
  • Collaborate with the SVP and VPs of Global Partnerships to develop and execute strategic revenue-generating plans for UBS Arena, the New York Islanders, and designated OVG properties.
  • Prospect, develop, negotiate, and close integrated partnership agreements to achieve individual and departmental sales goals.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of OVG Global Partnerships clients, properties, and initiatives, and identify opportunities to align and integrate partnership solutions across the portfolio.
  • Develop, maintain, and effectively manage sales reports, pipeline tracking, and revenue forecasting documents.
  • Monitor relevant industry trends, competitive activity, and market developments across the sports and entertainment landscape.
  • Attend New York Islanders games, UBS Arena events, industry conferences, networking functions, and promotional events to cultivate relationships with prospective clients and business partners.
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships while operating efficiently in a fast-paced, results-oriented sales environment.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3-5 years total experience, 2+ years of direct sponsorship sales experience in a high-performance sales environment.
  • Experience within the sports, entertainment, and/or venue industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated success selling multi-year sponsorship agreements with annual values in the high six-figure and seven-figure range.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to build and manage a personal prospect pipeline while effectively multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to help develop, present, negotiate, and close multi-year sponsorship partnerships valued in the high six- and seven-figure range.
  • Dynamic, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to leverage data, analytics, and insights to drive sales strategies.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills with the ability to develop customized marketing and partnership solutions for prospects and partners.
  • Natural selling ability with demonstrated experience in consultative selling, strategic positioning, and presentation development.
  • Ability to establish immediate credibility and trust with internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and external decision-makers.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including strong active listening abilities.
  • Results-oriented with a strong business acumen and the ability to balance organizational goals with relationship management.
  • Professional appearance, attitude, and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Experience developing and executing innovative sponsorship and marketing platforms.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
