About this position
This role is best suited for the Learning & Development professional with a broad base of L & D experience including producing learning experiences in Articulate Storyline 360, as well as using adult learning theory to design, facilitate and produce virtual and live and in-person training. This role will provide the overarching coordination and production of on-demand mandatory education requirements, competency management, presceptor program, regulatory requirements, QMS data coordination, Agency (temporary agency) compliance and professional development. This includes partnering with the Learning Management System administrator in managing and maintaining courses, records and reports.
Scope of repsonsibility spans all clinical and non-clinical areas across the system. Partners closely with leadership and all dept. educators. Actively and consistently demonstrates the mission, vision, values and guiding prnciples of North Memorial Heatlh. The eLearning & Development Consultant will have primary responsibility for online learning and production.
Requirements
Education
• Bachelor's Degree in associated field, such as Instructional Design, HR, Education, Healthcare or a minimum of six years of progressive experience in an elearning and development/organizational development role.
Experience
• Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experiences producing eLearning & developing using Articulate, Storyline
• Minimum of 2 years of project management experience
• Minimum of 2 years of instructional design, developing core education programs. Preferred experience in healthcare, including DNV or JC regulatory requirements, oversight of required learning and competency management.
• Minimum of 2 years experience facilitating and producing virtual and live in-person workshops.
• Strong ability to produce elearning in Articulate Storyline 360 or Adobe Captivate.
• Strong stakeholder management practices.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of adult learning theory and sound instructional design principles.
• Ability to engage learners as faciliator or producer in both the in-person and virtual environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of sensitive and confidential issues.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and judgment capabilities.
• Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to express ideas and information clearly and concisely, both in written and oral form, in a manner appropriate to the audience.
• Demonstrated ability to deal with conflict in a positive manner. Has an awareness of , resopnds to, and considers the needs, feelings and capabilities of others.
• Ability to be accountable for quality customer serivce and resopnd appropriately to a variety fo personalites and situations.
• Effective planning, organizational and detail-oriented skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and adjust workload accordingly.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety and infection control standards.
• Proficiency in virtual classroom tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom Pro, WebEx, etc. and Learning Management System.
