Job description

Director of Partner Sales
Payzli | Remote

About the Role

Payzli is building out its partner channel and we are looking for an experienced Director of Partner Sales to lead that effort. This is a senior, high-ownership role responsible for recruiting and growing Payzli's partner network across three segments: 1099 agents and ISOs, bank partnerships, and ISVs.

In addition to driving channel growth directly, you will build and manage a team of Partner Sales employees - setting strategy, establishing process, and holding the team accountable to results. This role reports to senior leadership and has a direct impact on Payzli's revenue trajectory.

What You'll Own

Channel Development

  • Recruit and grow Payzli's partner network across agents/ISOs, bank partnerships, and ISV relationships
  • Own the full partner lifecycle from prospecting and signing
  • Build and maintain a strong personal pipeline leveraging your existing industry network
  • Coordinate with the Partner Success team to drive partner activation and long-term performance

Team Leadership

  • Build, hire, and manage a team of Partner Sales Representatives
  • Set individual and team quotas, establish reporting cadences, and drive accountability
  • Coach and develop team members to consistently hit recruitment and activation targets
  • Create scalable processes for prospecting, pipeline management, and partner onboarding handoff

How Success Is Measured

  • Partner Recruitment: New signed partners across agents/ISOs, banks, and ISVs on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Partner Activation: Partners reaching active processing status within 90 days of signing
  • Team Performance: Your team's collective pipeline, recruitment output, and activation rates

What We're Looking For

  • Established experience in payments, fintech, or merchant services - an existing network of agents, ISOs, bank contacts, or ISV relationships is a strong advantage
  • Proven track record recruiting and managing channel partners at scale
  • Prior experience building or managing a sales team
  • Strong pipeline discipline with the ability to manage a high-volume, multi-segment book of prospects
  • Clear, professional communicator - comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and external partners
  • HubSpot or equivalent CRM proficiency preferred

Compensation
This is a W-2 position offering a competitive base salary plus a revenue override incentive tied to the performance of your recruited partner portfolio. The more your partners produce, the more you earn. Compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.

How to Apply

Submit your resume and a brief note outlining your experience in payments, partner operations, onboarding, or support leadership. Candidates with relevant industry and leadership experience will be prioritized.
Please ensure all qualifying application questions are completed thoughtfully, as they are an important part of the review process.

If this role sounds like a fit, apply directly. We look forward to meeting you!
