Job description

As a Product Manager Lead within PNC's Treasury Management organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, New York, Chicago IL, Cleveland OH, Charlotte NC, Dallas TX or Houston TX.
As a Wire Transfer Product Management Lead within PNC's Treasury Management Global Payments organization, you will define and execute the wire transfer product strategy and multi-year roadmap for domestic and international wire transfer capabilities. You will be accountable for driving the product strategy and priorities, client adoption and usage, and financial outcomes including revenue and direct expenses across the product lifecycle. You will partner with other Product Management partners, Product Development, Technology, Operations, Servicing, Implementation, and Risk
partners to inform the design and operating approach for sales enablement and support, servicing, implementation and risk management of the wire transfer product line.
Required Qualifications:
- Wire transfer product management experience including U.S. domestic and
cross-border wires, beneficiary deduct and auto FX solutions. Knowledge of
other non-U.S. domestic wire systems helpful.
- Proven ability to partner effectively with product development, operations and
other stakeholders.
- Ability to define, prioritize and execute product work across multiple platforms and initiatives.
- Strong communication and influence skills with the ability to drive alignment
across business and development/technology stakeholders.
- Experience operating at a strategic level while maintaining accountability for
execution.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively select, manage and partner with correspondent banks for
select cross-border wire processing.
Additional job responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains the product strategy plan for Wire Transfer including the competitive position, growth strategies, financial and performance metrics and product roadmap. Aligns the plan with key partners across Treasury
Management and the enterprise.
- Champions product improvements including appropriate business justification and prioritization. Collaborates with product development and operations to define the overall scope and requirements for new initiatives.
- Manages the product financials including budgeting and forecasting of revenue growth and direct expenses. Provides periodic financial updates and insights along with key product and industry updates.
- Partners closely with Operations, Servicing, Implementation, Risk and
Compliance partners to ensure a positive end-to-end client experience.
- Partners closely with Go To Market teams to develop and maintain appropriate marketing, collateral and communication materials while educating TM partners on product capabilities and enhancements.
- Participates in industry groups such as CHIPS Business Committee and meets with Federal Reserve and correspondent bank representatives to ensure PNC is actively engaged in industry discussions and changes. Actively contribute thought leadership to PNC clients and prospects through articles, conferences and other forums. Engages bi-directionally with various standards forum as required to influence positive industry change results.

  • Responsible for end-to-end business and financial results for multi-faceted, complex products through the selection, design, development and promotion of new and existing products utilizing traditional and emerging capabilities in technology, operations, and data analytics to offer customers a differentiated product experience.
  • Uses knowledge of emerging technologies to deliver products to customers through all applicable channels. Prioritizes and makes decisions regarding recommendations. Champions business cases, business plan and roll-out of specific products, product groups or experiences.
  • Monitors the marketplace to assess product, technology, and markets trends to identify a market need or opportunity. Recommend innovative new products, new experiences or enhancements to existing products and develops and designs the features of a designated new or existing products Manages the end-to-end development, production, roll-out, pricing or promotion of specific products, product groups or experiences and resolves complex operational and process problems that arise .
  • Partners with key stakeholders including sales, marketing, digital channel delivery, and other internal service partners. Participates and/or leads activities with external stakeholders and clients to ensure all product offerings meet their strategic goals. Develops product-specific marketing initiatives. Supports risk management, compliance and audit needs as part of the first line of defense.
  • Drives business, financial and customer experience results of new and existing products and recommends modifications in product features and/or marketing to improve results. Coordinates across groups and leads key contributors.
