Job description

The Opportunity
The Commerce Platform team at Adobe develops APIs and AI-powered integrations that help partners resell Adobe products! We seek someone skilled in sales engineering and product management. They will join a partner's engineering standup in the morning. By afternoon, they will translate findings into a product requirements document. By the end of the week, they will share a roadmap update with Adobe leadership.
This is not a traditional PM role! You will be forward deployed and embedded with partners and their developer teams, acting as the connective tissue between what partners need and what Adobe builds. You will own the feedback loop: from partner feedback to API solution to shipped feature. Expect to split your time roughly 50/50 between external partner engagement and internal product development.
What you'll Do
  • Serve as the primary technical product liaison for partners integrating with Adobe's Marketplace APIs.
  • Evangelize API offerings to prospective and active partners alongside Adobe's sales teams.
  • Conduct hands-on integration workshops with partner engineering teams. Understand their existing tech stacks, identify friction points, and guide them toward scalable, standardized integration patterns.
  • Build and maintain integration guides, API documentation, and development kits that reduce partner time-to-integration.
  • Be the voice of external developers inside Adobe. Translate partner integration challenges into prioritized product requirements with clear business justification.
  • Act as the senior contact for partners encountering critical technical issues. Diagnose problems across Adobe's API stack, coordinate with engineering teams in the US and India, and lead the resolution process.
  • Develop a solid understanding of partner business models. Explain clearly how Adobe's API offerings align with the revenue goals and operational limitations of partners.

What you need to succeed
  • 3-5+ years of product management experience on a developer-facing or API product. Prior experience as a software engineer is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on proficiency with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and common integration patterns. You can read API documentation and spot build problems without waiting for engineering.
  • Proven ability to work directly with external engineering teams, translating technical constraints into business trade-offs and vice versa.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. You can explain a complex API flow to a non-technical collaborator and file a detailed engineering ticket in the same hour.
  • Systems thinking approach; evaluate how a single API build decision ripples across partner adoption, support load, and revenue.
  • Comfort operating in a matrixed organization where influence matters more than authority.
  • Nice to have - Familiarity with AI-powered developer tooling: MCPs (Model Context Protocols), agent-to-agent handshakes or similar emerging patterns.
