Job description

Who you are:

We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Partner Account Manager who will be responsible for strategically expanding our Partner network across the North Central region, building trusted relationships that drive long-term revenue growth and market presence. In this role, you'll combine relationship management expertise with a data-driven, lead generation mindset - using AI-powered tools to surface insights, conduct impactful presentations, and position Geotab as the preferred telematics solution. If you love building meaningful business partnerships and are keen to join an industry leader - we would love to hear from you!

What you'll do:

As a Partner Account Manager, your key area of responsibility will be developing and nurturing a portfolio of Geotab channel Partners to drive sustainable revenue growth, deepen mindshare, and unlock new lead generation opportunities across your territory. You will manage day-to-day Partner interactions, conduct regular business reviews, coach Partners on Geotab solutions through platform training, product demonstrations, and webinars, and serve as the primary point of contact for Partner inquiries and escalations. You will maintain accurate forecasts and pipeline activity in Salesforce, assist with RFPs and RFIs, and regularly assess the Partner landscape to propose new growth programs and initiatives. You will also leverage AI-based tools to analyze customer data and deliver compelling group presentations that differentiate Geotab in a competitive market.

To be successful in this role you will be a natural relationship-builder - a "people person" who thrives on creating trust, generating excitement, and driving action within a channel ecosystem. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong cross-functional instincts, working closely with Business Development, Marketing, Solutions Engineering, Account Advisory, and Product teams to align sales strategies, support co-marketing initiatives, and ensure Partner satisfaction at every stage of the relationship.

How you'll make an impact:

Manage and develop Geotab Partner relationships to drive revenue and unit sales through new and existing Partners

Enable Partner success by providing the necessary tools, training, and resources to drive Geotab sales

Forecast and track key account metrics including monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts - sales activations, terminations, and revenue

Ensure Partners and Geotab successfully meet agreed revenue, profitability, and market share targets

Build Geotab credibility, brand value, and trust with the assigned Partner network through regular in-person business reviews and engagement

Provide a feedback loop from Partners about the market, customer needs, and product performance to inform product development strategy

Coach and develop the assigned Partner network on Geotab solutions via in-person meetings, platform training, product demonstrations, and webinars

Regularly consult with Marketing to maximize co-marketing and lead generation activities and ensure the Geotab brand is best positioned in each Partner's portfolio

What you'll bring to this role:

Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

5+ years of experience in technical or channel sales

5+ years of experience in an account management role within a channel sales organization

Demonstrated knowledge of telematics or fleet management technology; ability to differentiate Geotab from competitors such as Samsara and Motive

Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides); comfort using AI-based tools to analyze data and deliver presentations

Located in or near the North Central region (Chicago corridor, Minnesota, Iowa, or surrounding area) preferred to support regional travel requirements

Ability to travel 25-50% of the time, including regular branch visits across an 8-10 branch territory; valid passport required for international travel

If you got this far, we hope you're feeling excited about this role! Even if you don't feel you meet every single requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
