Position Summary

Legacy Risk Solutions is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of commercial insurance accounts, partnering with Producers to deliver strategic risk management solutions and exceptional client service.

The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven insurance professional who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment. This role plays a key part in client retention, account growth, and ensuring the timely and accurate servicing of commercial insurance policies while building trusted relationships with clients, carrier partners, and internal teams.


What You'll Do

  • Manage the full lifecycle of Commercial Lines accounts, including new business, renewals, endorsements, policy changes, and ongoing account servicing.
  • Partner with Producers to develop renewal strategies, prepare for client meetings, and identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and expand coverage.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing responsive, consultative service and resolving coverage, policy, and billing inquiries.
  • Prepare applications and market new and renewal business to insurance carrier partners.
  • Review carrier proposals and policy documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and appropriate coverage recommendations.
  • Process policy endorsements, renewals, cancellations, premium audits, and policy changes while maintaining compliance with agency and carrier guidelines.
  • Coordinate policy binding, billing inquiries, premium audits, and non-renewal activities.
  • Collect loss information, order loss runs, and maintain accurate client records and documentation.
  • Maintain complete and organized electronic files within Applied Epic and other agency management systems.
  • Build strong working relationships with carrier underwriters and business partners to support successful account management and client retention.
  • Deliver exceptional client service while ensuring all transactions are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.


Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license required.
  • Minimum of four years of Commercial Lines insurance or account management experience.
  • Experience with Applied Epic or a similar agency management system required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Commercial Lines insurance products, policy servicing, and carrier underwriting practices.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Producers, carrier partners, and internal teams.
