We seek DSPs who are empathetic, patient, and skilled in providing personalized care to individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities for Direct Support Professional (DSP):
  • Client Care: Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of clients.
  • Daily Support: Assist clients with grooming, bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed and document accurately per OPWDD guidelines.
  • Behavioral Support: Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviors and foster positive outcomes.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with therapists, clinicians, and case managers to develop and implement care plans.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies and follow established protocols.
