Job Summary Job Summary The Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) is looking for a sharp and detail-oriented Short-Term Workflow Developer. This professional will provide technical configuration, requirements gathering, testing, and district-specific support to maintain project momentum and reduce implementation risk. This temporary role ensures that onboarding workflows are deployed consistently and correctly without impacting existing OCDE operational commitments as our new Employee Onboarding application is implemented.

Key Responsibilities: Join the Analysts to conduct requirements gathering sessions with district HR, Payroll, and IT teams. Analyze current state onboarding processes and map them to future state workflows. Configure onboarding workflows, routing logic, approval chains, and conditional rules.

Build and refine onboarding forms, including field validation and user experience optimization. Perform data mapping, troubleshoot data inconsistencies, and support integration needs. Develop and execute test plans; coordinate UAT with district staff.

Document workflow configurations, process changes, and district specific variations. Provide hands on support during rollout, including issue resolution and workflow adjustments. Prepare training materials, quick guides, and walkthroughs for district users.

Track tasks, risks, and milestones across all four districts to ensure timely delivery.
