Job description

The HR Data Specialist at Saddleback Church will play a pivotal role in managing our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of employee data. This individual will provide support to HR team members and employees, generate reports, and assist with system upgrades and enhancements. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging technology to support our mission and possess strong attention to detail and communication skills. This is a 20-hour a week on-site position.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Data Entry - Perform routine and complex tasks within HR and church systems - input data, review automated processes for accuracy, and perform mass updates.
Reports - Create and generate ad hoc and scheduled reports (standard and complex). Analyze and organize data to find conclusions, trends, and statistics. Manipulate data in Excel and summarize for different audiences as appropriate.
System Maintenance - Maintain awareness of product updates, trends, and new technologies through webinars and personal research. Implement product updates in a timely manner.
Projects and Administration - Perform administrative support tasks and manage projects for the Sr. HR Director.
WHAT YOU HAVE DONE
  • 2+ years of experience in HRIS administration, preferably with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) software.
  • Experience with system implementations or upgrades is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Saddleback Church's pay philosophy is based on internal and external data for pay equity and budgetary considerations for effective stewardship. The estimated pay rate for this position is $26-$27 per hour, depending on experience.
