Overview:

Jensen Meat Company is seeking a detail-oriented Benefits & HRIS Analyst to serve as a technical resource for HR systems, benefits administration, and workforce data. This mid-level role owns day-to-day HRIS support and reporting, partners with Paylocity and benefits vendors, strengthens data accuracy and system workflows, and helps leaders and departments use HR technology effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary HRIS subject-matter resource for Paylocity, including employee data, workflows, time and labor, time clocks, benefits, onboarding, reporting, and applicable system modules.
  • Maintain accurate HRIS records and access controls; perform regular audits of employee information, job changes, manager assignments, pay-related fields, and system workflows.
  • Administer benefits eligibility, enrollment, changes, and terminations; reconcile carrier and vendor files, invoices, eligibility reports, and employee deductions to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Partner directly with Paylocity, benefits carriers, brokers, and other vendors to troubleshoot issues, test enhancements, manage data feeds, and improve service delivery.
  • Serve as a technical resource for timekeeping and time-clock processes; assist leaders with punches, schedules, approvals, accruals, corrections, and related workflow questions.
  • Manage and support the applicant tracking system and recruiting workflows, including requisition setup, candidate movement, reporting, onboarding handoffs, and data integrity.
  • Develop recurring HRIS, benefits, timekeeping, and workforce reports; analyze trends, identify data issues, and prepare clear summaries for HR and leadership.
  • Create and maintain HRIS procedures, system job aids, audit tools, and department-specific workflow documentation to support consistent use of HR technology.
  • Partner with the HR Manager to provide targeted training for leaders and departments on Paylocity, timekeeping, applicant tracking, benefits processes, reporting, and role-specific workflows.
  • Support open enrollment, vendor implementations, compliance reporting, and other HR technology projects while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and customer service.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in HRIS administration, benefits administration, payroll/timekeeping support, HR operations, or a closely related role.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS and timekeeping systems; Paylocity experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with benefits carriers, brokers, vendors, eligibility files, enrollment processes, and invoice or data reconciliation preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude, Excel proficiency, reporting skills, and ability to investigate and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Ability to translate system requirements into clear procedures, job aids, and practical department-specific workflows.
  • Strong communication, training, project-management, and customer-service skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and leaders at all levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field preferred; HRIS, benefits, payroll, or system certifications are a plus.
