Adecco is hiring for a Part-Time HR/Safety Coordinator for a food manufacturer in Lowell! This is a temp to perm opportunity.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 10:00AM - 2:00PM
Pay: $25-$30/hour DOE
JOB DUTIES:
Human Resources
โข Review employee timecards for accuracy and completeness
โข Follow up with supervisors regarding attendance and timekeeping discrepancies
โข Assist with payroll processing and timely submission of time records
โข Process and track employee PTO, sick time, and leave requests
โข Maintain employee personnel files and HR records
โข Assist with onboarding and new hire paperwork
โข Respond to employee questions regarding attendance, benefits, and policies
โข Prepare HR reports and maintain HRIS and payroll system data
โข Support employee communications and HR programs
โข Assist with onboarding, orientation, and hiring processes
โข Support open enrollment meetings and benefit changes
Staffing Coordination
โข Submit and coordinate temporary staffing requests
โข Schedule and support placement of temporary employees
โข Review and approve temporary employee hours
โข Submit weekly timecards to staffing agencies
โข Maintain communication with staffing partners regarding attendance and performance
โข Track temporary assignments and conversions
Safety
โข Support workplace safety programs and initiatives
โข Maintain safety logs, records, and compliance documentation
โข Assist with incident reporting and investigations
โข Coordinate workersโ compensation claims and return-to-work activities
โข Support corrective action follow-up items
โข Assist with scheduling safety meetings and communications
โข Help prepare documentation for audits and regulatory requests
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
โข High school diploma or GED required
โข 1โ3 years of administrative, HR, or office support experience preferred
โข Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
โข Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
โข Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
โข Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
โข Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
โข Willingness to learn HR, payroll, and safety processes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
โข Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
โข Experience in manufacturing, food production, or warehouse environment
โข Experience with HRIS, payroll, or timekeeping systems
โข Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
โข Exposure to workersโ compensation or safety programs

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
