Administrative Assistant - Worship Ministry - Part-Time

Position Overview: Under general supervision, this position is responsible for assisting the Lead Worship Pastor by providing administrative support to the worship department.

Lead Worship Pastor

Prerequisites

  • Ability to meet all minimum eligibility requirements to be a member of Family Church.
  • Supportive of the doctrinal statements as found in the Baptist Faith and Message of 2000.
  • Maintaining a close and healthy walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Maintaining a high standard of excellence and moral character.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Outlook, other MS Suite applications are preferred.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and positive demeanor.

General Responsibilities

  • Receive and make ministry contacts including phone calls, text messages, and letters.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for campus, and/or ministry area.
  • Manage and effectively prioritize personal workflow.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a stressful work environment.
  • Maintain a cooperative spirit by assisting others when needed or requested.
  • Communicate effectively with leaders, peers, and members.
  • Demonstrate stewardship of church resources including supplies, equipment, and intellectual property.
  • Understand and adhere to procedural guidelines and policies.

Role-Specific Responsibilities:

  • Manage the worship dept email account and postal mail.
  • Manage the Intacct account for the worship department.
  • Manage and submit monthly Ramp reports for the Lead Worship Pastor.
  • Administrate the FC Planning Center account as needed.
  • Recruit, administrate, and coordinate office staff volunteers as needed.
  • Participate in and provide administrative support for worship ministry staff meetings.
  • Support the lead worship pastor with administrative / office needs
  • Monitor and assist in managing worship ministry budget and expenses
  • Assist with special worship ministry events, including but not limited to Nights of Worship, worship staff retreats, Easter, and Christmas.
  • Act as a liaison between worship departments and other departments of the church: operations, communications, finance, etc.
