Job description

What can I expect?

• Help build the next generation of female leaders!
• Assist Troops and Girl Scout volunteers!
• Prepare and help distribute patches, recruitment materials, and booth supplies!
• Assist in creating and organizing materials for recruitment booths, events, and facilitator-led troop meetings!
• Collaborate with team members, Girl Scout Members, and Vendors!
• Help identify community needs and come up with practical ideas to address them!
• Participate in staff engagement activities and Team on the Move meetings!
• Join staff as we celebrate different milestones with cake, bingo, and activities curated by our Ambassador of Fun!
• Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Advancement - (Philanthropy, event planning, administrative work, donor relations)
  • Girl Experience - (Event Planning, vendor contacts, youth knowledge, program facilitation)

  • Membership - (Troop support, recruitment, outreach identification)
  • Member Care & Volunteer Training - (Customer service, phone support, Zoom experience)


Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled FAU Junior or Senior enrolled in the Government and Nonprofit internship program
  • Complete the Internship application on the GSSEF Career site
  • Have the ability to commute to the Lake Worth Headquarters and event sites.
