Job description

Job Summary

This person is responsible for preparing any and all aspects in preparation for high end events, such as weddings and galas. This may include safely driving company vehicles to and from elite venues carrying fragile and expensive props and floral arrangements. Also, assisting and leading on site teams to achieve desired event results.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Repeatedly lift, load, and offload boxes, tables, carts, and floral arrangements
  • General product and prop assembly and preparation while meeting deadlines
  • Accurately load and unload trucks for events in a timely and safe manner
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and tidy work environment
  • Safely drive non-CDL trucks to and from events
  • Fleet fueling and upkeep
  • Shipping and Receiving
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Delegate attainable tasks to team members
  • Meet deadlines with accuracy in a fast paced environment
  • Make sound judgments and think critically
  • Motivate and keep team members on task
  • Brainstorm installation challenges with Supervisors
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • English speaking is required / Bilingual is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools
  • Positive attitude

Education and Experience:
  • Valid Driver’s License
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to navigate using a hand truck, dolly, tool carts, and ladders
  • Physical movement includes: walking, bending, stooping, standing and climbing, and at times, remain stationary depending on the task or the shift of the day, and have the ability to push/pull up to 100lbs with team members occasionally, lift/carry up to 50 lbs frequently
Expected Hours of Work
  • The typical work schedule can include nights, weekends, and holidays. Employee availability is required during seasonal high-volume periods (November to April)
