We specialize in operating both permanent, indoor pickleball clubs as well as high-profile, seasonal activations.
Boca Paddle by CityPickle, slated to open in mid-November, is a premier racquet sports and lifestyle destination redefining how people play, connect, and unwind. Located in Boca Raton, the club blends world-class pickleball and padel with elevated hospitality, offering member-driven experience anchored by exceptional service, vibrant community, and best-in-class facilities.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Events Salesperson to drive pickleball and padel event sales throughout Boca Raton and the surrounding region. In this role, you will generate revenue through the sale of event packages that include both court time and food & beverage, while delivering an exceptional client experience from initial inquiry through execution.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach to proposal development, negotiation and contract execution while ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience. This is a highly visible role that requires strong sales instincts, attention to detail and a commitment to hospitality.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in corporate and social event planning, hospitality or experiential event sales who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy sports and wellness environment. The right candidate is proactive, relationship-driven and energized by building a pipeline, closing deals and creating memorable experiences.
Responsibilities:
  • Drive revenue by selling corporate events, team-building events, private social events and full venue buyouts.
  • Drive new business through consistent outbound outreach, including targeted prospecting, networking, cold outreach and strategic relationship building.
  • Identify and engage prospective clients across corporate, social, and community segments to generate new business opportunities
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial inquiry through execution, including proposals, negotiations, and contract completion.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a seamless and high quality experience throughout the planning and execution process
  • Develop and present tailored event proposals aligned with client objectives, budgets and timelines
  • Prepare and present monthly sales reports to Boca Paddle management and CityPickle leadership, using performance data to inform and refine sales strategy
  • Partner with CityPickle's VP of Sales and Chief Operating Officer to evaluate performance and identify opportunities to optimize revenue and improve sales effectiveness
  • Lead cross-functional coordination for all events, ensuring operational alignment across programming, staffing, facilities, retail, and food & beverage
  • Coordinate event logistics including staffing plans, court allocations, timelines, vendor coordination, and operational communication
  • Partner closely with the General Manager and operational leadership to ensure seamless event execution and elevated guest experiences
  • Maintain detailed operational event documents, timelines, and execution plans for internal teams

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in catering, food and beverage or culinary experience is valued.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong writing, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 3+ years of experience in corporate sales, event planning or entertainment/hospitality.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Tripleseat, Slack and Canva is a plus
  • Passion for pickleball, racquet sports, or sports-driven experiences is a strong advantage.
