Position Overview:

Under the direction of the EHS Manager, the Part-Time EHS Coordinator supports environmental health and safety initiatives across the organization. This role assists with training, inspections, audits, regulatory compliance activities, recordkeeping, and continuous improvement efforts while helping foster a strong safety culture.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with environmental, health, and safety training programs
  • Support safety committee activities and meetings
  • Conduct workplace inspections and audits
  • Help identify and evaluate safety risks and improvement opportunities
  • Maintain training records, safety documentation, and compliance records
  • Assist in managing environmental permits and compliance requirements
  • Support incident investigations and corrective action initiatives
  • Coordinate facility, equipment, and vehicle inspections
  • Assist with workers' compensation and safety-related programs
  • Partner with employees and leaders to promote a safe work environment
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and special assignments

 

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
  • Interest in workplace safety, environmental compliance, or manufacturing operations


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a safety, compliance, or safety-adjacent role
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or a related field
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and hazardous waste management practices
