Job description

Reena Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community is looking for a Culinary Aide/Server to join our growing team.
Reena Senior Living in Fort Atkinson, WI, was recently voted "Best Assisted living in the Area" by the Jefferson County Daily Union for the 7th straight year. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our gorgeous 80-unit, apartment style community providing Assisted Living and Memory Care services. Reenaprovides a supportive environment allowing new employees to grow as they join our caring team.
Shifts Available: Part time, 7:00am-1:30 (26 hours/week) or per diem evenings - both including rotating weekends/holidays
Wage: $15.45-$18.80 an hour wage is based on experience.

Our Culinary Assistants/Servers becomes family and impacts the lives of our residents who live in a Lifespark Senior Living Community.
In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, distribution and supply of food and dishes to residents, families, and staff while creating an environment that promotes resident/resident well-being. Duties include:
  • Set up room trays and tables in dining room, serve and bus trays, pour and cover beverages, and assist in preparing and covering food.
  • Transport carts to appropriate areas and deliver trays, when applicable.
  • Deliver nourishments and snacks appropriately.
  • Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes.
  • Soak, scrub, scrape and wash soiled dishes.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
  • Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families, and employees.
  • Must possess advanced computer skills.
