Culinary Services Assistant - IRREGULAR PART-TIME (0-39 hours per pay period)
Status: Non-Exempt
Location: Hillview Health Care Center
Starting Wage: $18.51 per hour + shift and weekend differentials
Schedule: AM and PM shift availability preferred
Rotation: Every other weekend and holiday rotations required

What You'll Do
  • Prepare, portion, and serve a variety of foods
  • Follow diet cards and special diet requirements
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and infection control
  • Wash dishes using automated or manual methods
  • Assist with receiving, unpacking, labeling, and storing supplies
  • Safely transport meal carts throughout the facility
  • Uphold residents' rights, confidentiality, and person-centered care
  • Attend required trainings and follow all safety practices

What We're Looking For
  • Ability to read and follow diet orders, instructions, and menus
  • Strong understanding of sanitary food handling practices
  • Reliable, respectful, and committed team player
  • Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and safely
  • Comfortable standing for long periods and working in varying temperatures
  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Must pass a background check under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law
  • Experience in large-scale food service is helpful but not required
