Atย Crown Hospice, we believe spiritual care is at the heart of hospice care. As a Chaplain on our compassionate team, youโll walk alongside patients and families during one of lifeโs most sacred journeys โ offering comfort, peace, and hope when they need it most.
What Youโll Do:
- Provide emotional and spiritual support to patients, families, and caregivers.
- Participate in the interdisciplinary care team to ensure the whole person โ body, mind, and spirit โ is cared for.
- Offer prayers, counseling, and spiritual guidance in alignment with each patientโs beliefs and values.
- Coordinate with local clergy, faith leaders, and volunteers to ensure spiritual needs are met.
- Lead or assist with memorial and celebration of life services.
What Weโre Looking For:
- A compassionate listener and steady presence for those facing loss or transition.
- A graduate of an accredited seminary or school of theology (MDiv, BD, or related degree preferred).
- Experience supporting individuals and families through grief, death, and dying.
- Comfort working in anย interfaith environmentย that honors diverse beliefs and traditions.
- A team-oriented professional who embodies empathy, respect, and integrity.
- Must have a valid driverโs license and reliable transportation.
