(Seeking part time Chaplain in Fayette County and Karnes County)

Atย Crown Hospice, we believe spiritual care is at the heart of hospice care. As a Chaplain on our compassionate team, youโ€™ll walk alongside patients and families during one of lifeโ€™s most sacred journeys โ€” offering comfort, peace, and hope when they need it most.

What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Provide emotional and spiritual support to patients, families, and caregivers.
  • Participate in the interdisciplinary care team to ensure the whole person โ€” body, mind, and spirit โ€” is cared for.
  • Offer prayers, counseling, and spiritual guidance in alignment with each patientโ€™s beliefs and values.
  • Coordinate with local clergy, faith leaders, and volunteers to ensure spiritual needs are met.
  • Lead or assist with memorial and celebration of life services.

What Weโ€™re Looking For:

  • A compassionate listener and steady presence for those facing loss or transition.
  • A graduate of an accredited seminary or school of theology (MDiv, BD, or related degree preferred).
  • Experience supporting individuals and families through grief, death, and dying.
  • Comfort working in anย interfaith environmentย that honors diverse beliefs and traditions.
  • A team-oriented professional who embodies empathy, respect, and integrity.
  • Must have a valid driverโ€™s license and reliable transportation.
