Job Description:

Urban Grub is seeking a skilled PM Part-time Butcher to join our evening crew. This role is perfect for someone who knows their way around a knife, has a strong work ethic, and takes pride in quality cuts and cleanliness. You'll help with finishing daily prep, breaking down primal cuts, and prepping items to be ready for the next morning.


Skills and Qualifications:

- Prior meat-cutting experience preferred (but will train the right person)

-Strong knife skills, cleanliness, and attention to detail.

- Ability to portion cuts precisely and consistently.

- Understanding of dry-aging and charcuterie is a plus.

- A team player with a strong work ethic and pride in craft.

- Flexibility to work in various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

- Reliable transportation to and from work.


Responsibilities:

- Bag, seal, and label portioned cuts in the evening

- Measure out ingredients according to specs and follow directions

- Assist in daily butchery operations, prepping cuts for service.

- Maintain clean and organized workstations in accordance with health codes.

- Collaborate with our chefs and culinary team on cuts, yields, and creative usage.
