Job description

Seeking a Part Time Medical Assistant/Receptionist for BCHP's Riverdale Pediatrics office in the Bronx, NY. Pay rate approx. $20/hr-$22/hr, negotiable based on experience.  Schedule: Wednesday 9:00am-6:00pm and Saturday 9:00am-2:00pm.  The candidate hired will also be cross trained as a receptionist.

Job Description: 

  • Perform and accurately record patients' vitals such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, weight,  vision, hearing.
  • Completion of school forms 
  • Ask patient or parent chief complaint, complete chart documentation 
  • Perform standard testing ( strep testing , covid testing , flu testing , urine test , lead and hemoglobulin test ) 
  • Doing Inventory of clinical and lab supplies 
  • Maintain exam room clean and full stocked 
  • Administrative tasks
  • Other duties as assigned
