Job description

Kent Place School is seeking a part-time receptionist to work the hours of 1:00pm - 6:00pm. This position will be one of the first points of contact for school constituents, playing a key role in cultivating a welcoming atmosphere and providing exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with our security staff to support school safety protocols and manage various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities include visitor management, managing a multi-line phone system, monitoring security cameras, performing general administrative duties and serving as the operations dispatcher. This is a 12-month position; additional hours occasionally required.

Requirements: strong communication and technology skills a must, knowledge of Google Suite preferred; three years of administrative experience required, experience in a school setting preferred. Candidates should possess a professional and positive attitude with flexibility to adapt to changing needs and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
