In this role, you'll be the driving force behind a talented team of Account Managers — coaching them to close deals, deepen relationships, and consistently hit ambitious sales and gross profit targets. You'll own the strategy and the results, which means your fingerprints are on everything from how we develop new business to how we retain and grow the accounts that matter most.

This isn't a role for someone who wants to manage from the sidelines. You'll be in it — setting the standard for accountability, fostering a culture where collaboration and customer obsession aren't buzzwords but the actual way we operate. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Monitor and ensure achievement of individual and team sales and gross profit targets
  • Maintain and enforce margin expectations across all business
  • Maintain visibility into pipeline activity and forecasting accuracy
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs
  • Build, manage, and grow a personal book of business, allocating one day per week to direct selling activities to remain actively engaged in the market and lead by example.
  • Support strategic and high-value account development
  • Build and maintain key customer and supplier relationships
  • Team Management & Development: recruit, onboard, train, and count Managers, provide ongoing coaching, ride-alongs, and performance feedback, and hold team members accountable to KPIs,

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred, or minimum of 5 years of packaging sales experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Experience in the packaging distribution is a must.
  • Capacity to work independently
  • Proven ability to lead a team to meet quotas and drive sales growth
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Strong negotiation and relationship development skills
  • Experience setting sales goals
  • Deep understanding of customer relations and customer service.
