JOB DESCRIPTION Location: Hotel Victor South Beach POSITION: Front Desk Overnight DEPARTMENT: Front Desk REPORTS TO: Front Office Manager Job Summary: The Night Audit / Front Desk Associate at Hotel Victor South Beach will manage the overnight front desk, guest services and financial audit tasks. This person ensures seamless guest experience during late hours, handles accounting and reconciliation for the day, prepares audit reports, and supports next-day operations. Job Responsibilities Check-in guests and answer phones Respond to guest complaints, requests, and emergencies Process invoices, post checks to vendors, and distribute employee checks Reconcile accounts Balance the cash drawer and log receipts Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts Keep accurate financial records and ledgers Help prepare for forecasts and audits Perform daily audit: reconcile charges Close out the day in the property management system (PMS), generate end-of-day reports, shift summaries, and prepare for next business day.

Post incidental charges (spa, room-service, restaurant, extras like valet or lost items) to guest folios as needed. Balance cash, credit-card transactions, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Required Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in hotel front-desk, hospitality, guest services Basic accounting or cash-handling skills; comfort with nightly reconciliation, PMS, billing.

Excellent customer service and communication - friendly, calm, diplomatic (especially managing late-night guest needs, noise complaints, nightlife-driven requests). Ability to work overnight shifts (night hours) Strong problem-solving, organizational skills, attention to detail. Physical ability to handle front-desk demands: standing for long periods, occasionally handling luggage or guest belongings, walking the property if needed.

Professional, discreet, courteous manner - representing the hotel's boutique image and hospitality standards. (Preferred) Familiarity with a PMS used by the hotel, knowledge of local area (South Beach, nightlife, beachfront amenities), and possibly multilingual abilities (Spanish/Bilingual beneficial in Miami). Compensation & Benefits $20 hourly plus commission 401(k) retirement plan.
