Job description

Leaco is seeking an Outside Sales Contractor to promote and sell Leaco's Fiber to the Home Broadband services to residential and business customers.


This is an independent contractor opportunity. The contractor will independently identify prospective customers, explain Leaco's available services, generate sales opportunities, and submit customer information needed to begin the service process.


Leaco will provide information related to available services, pricing, coverage areas, promotional materials, customer eligibility, and installation procedures so the contractor can accurately represent Leaco's broadband offerings.


Scope of Services

The contractor may provide the following sales-related services:

  • Promote Leaco's Fiber to the Home Broadband services to residential and commercial prospects.
  • Conduct field-based sales outreach, including door-to-door canvassing, lead follow-up, referrals, and local prospecting.
  • Explain available products, service options, pricing, installation procedures, and customer benefits.
  • Identify customer needs and communicate service options that may meet those needs.
  • Generate customer interest through lawful local outreach and promotional efforts.
  • Submit completed sales documentation, customer information, lead activity, and other required records to Leaco.
  • Communicate with Leaco-designated contacts as needed regarding service availability, customer eligibility, installation scheduling, and customer processing.
  • Represent Leaco's services accurately, honestly, and professionally.
  • Follow applicable laws and Leaco-provided requirements related to branding, pricing, service information, customer documentation, and customer privacy.


Contractor Relationship

The contractor will perform services independently and is responsible for determining the manner, schedule, and method of conducting sales activities, subject to applicable laws and Leaco's service, brand, pricing, documentation, and customer privacy requirements.


Leaco may provide service information, promotional materials, and points of contact needed to support accurate customer communication and processing. These communications are not intended to direct the contractor's daily activities or method of performing sales services.


Preferred Background and Skills

  • Prior sales, customer service, telecommunications, broadband, or field outreach experience preferred.
  • Clear and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to independently plan and carry out sales activity.
  • Comfort with face-to-face customer interaction and community-based outreach.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and submit required customer or lead information.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Required insurance coverage as outlined in the written contractor agreement.
