What Will You Be Doing in This Role?

The Senior Organizational Development Consultant - Change Management serves as a senior internal consultant responsible for leading complex organizational development and change initiatives that advance strategic business priorities. This role partners with executives, senior leaders, HR leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to assess organizational needs, develop change strategies, and deliver solutions that improve organizational effectiveness, employee experience, and adoption of enterprise transformation initiatives.

As a senior individual contributor, the Senior OD Consultant works with a high degree of autonomy and is expected to influence at all levels of the organization, navigate complex stakeholder environments, and translate business strategy into practical organizational and change solutions. The role leads engagements from initial assessment and contracting through design, implementation, measurement, and sustainment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted senior consultant to executives, business leaders, and HR partners on organizational development, change management, organizational effectiveness, and workforce transformation priorities.
  • Develop change management strategies and execution for complex, large-scale initiatives, including enterprise technology, HCM/ERP, HR, digital, finance, and business transformation programs.
  • Conduct change impact, stakeholder, organizational readiness, and adoption assessments to identify risks, barriers, and interventions required for successful implementation.
  • Develop and execute integrated change management plans encompassing stakeholder engagement, leadership alignment, communications, training, readiness, adoption, and sustainment.
  • Lead OD and change engagements from initial intake and diagnosis through solution design, implementation, evaluation, and transition to the business.
  • Consult with senior leaders and leadership teams to improve organizational effectiveness, alignment, decision-making, accountability, and team performance.
  • Design and facilitate customized OD interventions, including change leadership, strategic alignment, leadership development, development planning, organization design, and team effectiveness.
  • Provide change management expertise for Human Capital Management (HCM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations and optimization initiatives; Oracle HCM and/or ERP experience is highly preferred.
  • Facilitate executive and leadership sessions, workshops, working sessions, and stakeholder forums that enable alignment, decision-making, and successful change adoption.
  • Establish governance, project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, budgets, and reporting mechanisms for assigned engagements and programs.
  • Develop change and organizational effectiveness metrics, dashboards, scorecards, and evaluation approaches to measure readiness, adoption, effectiveness, and business outcomes.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative data to identify organizational trends, assess intervention effectiveness, and recommend adjustments to leaders.
  • Build strong partnerships across various functional areas (such as HR, Finance, Supply Chain Management, and Operations) and the broader organization while effectively influencing stakeholders where formal authority may not exist.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate internal resources and external partners to deliver complex initiatives.
  • Manage external consultant and vendor relationships, including participation in vendor evaluation, selection, contracting, performance management, and delivery oversight.
  • Contribute to the continued development of organizational change management methodologies, tools, templates, standards, and consulting capabilities.

Experience Requirements

Five (5) plus years of experience in organizational development, organizational effectiveness, change management, management consulting, or a related discipline, preferably within, or consulting to, a large, complex enterprise.

Demonstrated experience serving as an internal or external consultant and independently advising senior leaders on complex organizational and change challenges.

Significant practical experience leading change management activities, including change impact and readiness assessments, stakeholder analysis and engagement, change strategy, communications, training, leadership alignment, adoption, and sustainment.

Experience supporting large-scale organizational transformation, preferably involving HR, Digital, Finance, HCM, ERP, or other enterprise-wide technology and process changes.

Enterprise-wide transformation or implementation experience required; HR Transformation, Financial Transformation, Oracle HCM or Oracle ERP experience highly preferred.

Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments, diagnose complex organizational issues, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

Experience developing metrics and using data and insights to evaluate change adoption, organizational effectiveness, and program outcomes.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Effectiveness, Change Management, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Leadership, Human Resources, Business Administration, Educational Technology, or a related field required.

Master's degree in a related discipline preferred.

Professional change management certification or formal methodology experience, such as Prosci/ADKAR or an equivalent framework, preferred.
