Job description

Overview

The Organizational Development Consultant partners with leaders, Human Resources, and Organizational Development teams to design, implement, facilitate, and evaluate programs that enhance leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, performance, onboarding, succession planning, and organizational capability. This role serves as an internal consultant, assessing business needs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing practical solutions that support organizational effectiveness. The position leads organizational development initiatives, facilitates learning experiences, analyzes data and feedback, and provides recommendations that align with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR Business Partners, leaders, and stakeholders to identify organizational needs and development opportunities.
  • Conduct assessments, stakeholder interviews, surveys, focus groups, and data analysis to identify trends and recommend solutions.
  • Design, coordinate, and facilitate leadership development programs, manager training, onboarding experiences, and employee development initiatives.
  • Support succession planning, talent reviews, performance management, employee engagement, and leadership development processes.
  • Lead organizational development projects, evaluate program effectiveness, support change management initiatives, and develop tools and resources that enhance organizational capability.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, Learning and Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a closely related field; or related experience required.
  • Master’s degree in a related field preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in Organizational Development, Learning and Development, Human Resources, Talent Management, Employee Engagement, or a related discipline.
  • Experience facilitating training programs, workshops, and group discussions, and supporting initiatives related to leadership development, employee engagement, performance management, or succession planning.
  • Experience conducting assessments, analyzing data, developing recommendations, and supporting implementation of solutions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams required; experience with HRIS, performance, talent, survey, or learning management systems preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

  • None required.
  • Professional certification in coaching, facilitation, organizational development, change management, or leadership development preferred.
