IBTCI serves government agencies, private sector companies and several donor agencies. IBTCI specializes in Third Party Monitoring across many sectors including, but not limited to, conflict and crisis, democracy and governance, economic growth, education, environment, and global health.

Overview:

Integrated Business and Technical Consultants, Inc. (IBTCI), a US-based international development consulting company, is seeking a Business Development Consultant. This position will assist with full life-cycle proposal management.

Essential Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Lead capture activities, including conducting research, analyzing competition and potential partners, etc.

  • Read and interpret solicitations to identify critical items required for compliant responses.

  • Help develop win themes.

  • Coordinate live full life-cycle proposals, ensuring timeliness and compliance of technical and cost proposals by providing oversight on proposal outlines, calendars, compliance checklists, recruitment, trackers, etc.

  • Facilitate white boarding sessions.

  • Lead proposal color review meetings.

  • Support in writing non-technical sections of technical proposals

  • Assist with all proposal components working in collaboration with the BD and Technical teams.

  • Ensure technical cost proposals meet all solicitation requirements.

  • Coordinate with business development team and other departments as needed

  • Any other job duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of business development experience.

  • At least 3 years of experience with DoS proposal Submissions. Ability and willingness to work with all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated experience with US donor-funded RFP/RFA/RFQs, particularly US DoS, World Bank, UN and MCC.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage proposals, including analysis of RFP, translation into a work structure breakdown, development and cost proposal management.

  • Excellent English writing and editing skills.

  • Oral and written fluency in English required; fluency in another language preferred.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Concentration in International Development, International Business, Marketing or a related field preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.

  • Strong multi-tasking capabilities.

  • In-depth proposal management skills strongly preferred.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in International Affairs, International Development, Economics, Business Administration, English or related field.

Working Environment: Remote

Physical Requirements: This is largely a sedentary position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 20 lbs.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not supervisory responsibilities.

Travel: N/A

Work Authorization: Candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S.A. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
